throw away chatrooms

hey.

so i built this micro-app recently. it’s like irc for people that don’t know what irc is. it’s like im for people who hate im. it’s like an anonymous chat with only people that know each other. is any of this making sense? probably not. sometimes you just have to see for yourself. i present to you, internet, anologue.

I wrote a case study on this app and the technology behind for the nerd in you: http://rad-dev.org/lithium/wiki/blog/rad-dev-a-case-study

It’s neat! I’d like to add functionality to click to color code participants, which I’ll do if I get the time… haven’t worked with li3 tho. Anyway I found the place cuz I wanted to say thanks for the cake authnet plugin! Keep it up.

Glad to see there are people out there willing to learn and experiment.

@t0nic: interesting idea. it’s still an early stage of development (as is the framework) but it functions. i’d like to add more to the ui and feature set – not a bad idea about the colors.

stoked on the authnet plugin – have to jump back in someday and add some patches. or you can ;)
